The ideal Assistant General Manager is a competent and trustworthy individual who will manage fiscal and operational processes and staff in a manner that leverages efficiency and quality to maximize profitability, while maintaining a high level of morale. They will be well-versed in business process efficiency and improvement and will be results-driven, proactive and focused. Honesty, accountability and attention to detail is a must along with the ability to communicate effectively and mentor others. This position will report to the General Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals

· Review and benchmark current processes then define and implement operational best practices for improvements.

· Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales, profitability, market share, and business plan objectives

· Develop, implement, and maintain strategic, budgetary and resource allocation plans

· Delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications,
guidelines, training programs, and cultural values

· Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved

· Support Operations, Truck Shop and Sales departments to achieve their objectives

· Ensure company complies with all legal, permitting and regulatory requirements

· Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· 3 years of managerial experience required

· Organized, detail oriented and a team player

· Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience

· Above average communication, organization, and time management skills.

· Ability to lead and motivate people, meet deadlines and hold employees accountable.

· Strong computer technical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel. Able to read, analyze, and create technical forms and financial reports.

· Possess valid driver license

· Have a reliable vehicle
