We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Litigation Paralegal position available for a Law Firm located in Palm Beach Gardens , FL .

The Litigation Paralegal will work with the Attorneys supporting Class Action and Consumer Fraud cases. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is comfortable managing cases through the full litigation lifecycle , including case investigation, client communication, pre-suit development, discovery, litigation support, and trial preparation. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Because this is a team-oriented department, the Paralegal will also assist with administrative and case-preparation duties as needed, including preparing and organizing binders, exhibits, and other materials for the attorneys.

The Litigation Paralegal is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Manage assigned matters throughout the full case lifecycle , from initial investigation and pre-litigation through active litigation, settlement, and case resolution.
• Assist attorneys with the investigation, evaluation, and development of potential class action, consumer fraud, mortgage and servicing fraud, consumer protection , and other complex civil litigation matters.
• Conduct client intake and communicate regularly with prospective and existing clients regarding case information, documentation, updates, outstanding items, and other case-related matters.
• Gather, organize, review, summarize, and analyze documents, records, correspondence, and other evidence relevant to assigned cases.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date electronic case files within the firm's case and document management systems.
• Identify, calendar, track, and monitor important deadlines, hearings, discovery obligations, filings, and other case-related dates .
• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, notices, subpoenas, and other litigation-related documents under attorney supervision.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents in state and federal courts, including use of applicable electronic filing systems.
• Coordinate and assist with written discovery, including collecting information and documents from clients, organizing responsive materials, and preparing document productions.
• Assist attorneys with deposition preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing deposition materials, compiling relevant documents, and coordinating logistics.
• Assist with hearing, mediation, and trial preparation, including preparing case timelines, summaries, exhibits, and other materials required for case evaluation and litigation.
• Prepare and maintain case binders, hearing binders, deposition binders, exhibit binders, and other case materials for attorneys and paralegals.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, vendors, experts, and other parties as necessary to support assigned matters.
• Track the status and progress of assigned matters and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks, documents, deadlines, and other case requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive client and case information.
• Provide administrative and organizational support to attorneys, paralegals, and other team members as needed, including copying, scanning, document organization, preparation of binders, and maintenance of case materials.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensure that documents are properly saved, labeled, and organized within the appropriate electronic case file.
• Perform additional duties, projects, and other responsibilities as assigned.

Required qualifications for the position include :

• Prior paralegal experience is required, preferably in civil litigation, class actions, consumer protection, consumer fraud, mortgage or servicing litigation, foreclosure-related litigation, or other complex litigation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to changing priorities and case demands.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn and effectively use case management, document management, electronic filing, and other legal technology systems.
• Professional demeanor with strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and client-service skills.
• Ability and willingness to perform both substantive paralegal responsibilities and hands-on administrative and organizational tasks as needed to support the department.

Preferred qualifications for the position include :

• Paralegal certificate or an equivalent combination of education and relevant legal experience.
• Experience with federal court litigation and electronic filing systems .
• Experience handling class actions, consumer fraud, consumer protection, banking, financial services, mortgage or servicing matters, or other complex civil litigation.
• Experience managing large volumes of documents and assisting with discovery and document production.

Pay Rate Range - $70-75K Annually

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
