Nexus Recovery – Chelmsford, MA · Full-time · Weekday schedule with some weekend rotation

Nexus Recovery is a substance use disorder treatment program in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, licensed by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS). We provide Acute Treatment Services (ATS/detox) and Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS), 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Most of the people who come through our doors are covered by MassHealth, and too often that has meant being told there is no bed, no time, or no one available. We are building a top-tier clinical program for exactly those people — the kind of care you would want for your own family, offered to the people who usually get the least of it. What you will do

• Connect patients to the next level of care, housing, benefits, primary care, and medication prescribers.

• Get releases signed and warm hand-offs made before a patient walks out the door.

• Coordinate appointments and transportation.

• Sort out MassHealth and insurance details so patients do not have to.

• Keep coordination and referrals documented in the record.

• Follow up — the phone call nobody else made is usually the one that matters.

What you need

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• One year of human services, case management, or care coordination experience preferred.

• Knowledge of MassHealth and Merrimack Valley area resources is a real advantage.

• Persistence, organization, and comfort on the phone.

• Current BLS/CPR certification and a valid driver’s license.
