School Social Worker

Remote School Social Worker (Part-Time)

Location: Colorado (Fully Remote)
Schedule: Approximately 7–10 Hours Per Week for the 26-27 school year
Student Caseload: Approximately 18 Students

A Colorado-based charter school is seeking a compassionate and student-centered School Social Worker to provide virtual support services during the upcoming school year. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about helping students overcome barriers to success while enjoying the flexibility of a remote schedule.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide virtual social-emotional support and counseling services to students
• Conduct student check-ins and monitor progress toward social-emotional goals
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to support student well-being
• Participate in student support team meetings as needed
• Assist with attendance, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records
• Support the school's efforts to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
• Active Colorado School Social Worker credential from the Colorado Department of Education or ability to obtain required Colorado credentials (we will reimburse for cross-licensing!)
• Experience working with schools and school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to build rapport and engage students in a virtual environment
