This contract pharmacist position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment in Dubuque, IA. The role is focused on ensuring the safe preparation and delivery of medications while providing excellent patient counseling.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed
• Shift options: 8:00am – 5:00pm or 9:00am – 6:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the supervision of the pharmacy manager
• Provide patient counseling and advice on medication use and regimens
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and safety protocols to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Iowa; temporary Iowa Pharmacist license holders are welcome to apply
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail for patient safety and satisfaction
