Little Steps 1, Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Rego Park, NY! - Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and developmental needs to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based OT interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, speech therapists, and physical therapists
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of sensory integration, ADLs, and rehabilitative therapy techniques
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
