Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager contributes to the success of Chick-fil-A Layton Hills Mall by assisting the Operations Manager in executing restaurant's daily operations and requirements. This job includes hands-on execution, deploying team members, and delegating tasks to enable a high performance team environment to deliver outstanding service for all our guests everyday.

Requirements:

• Participating operationally in day to day activities in high-volume fast-paced restaurant.
• Offer the Team encouragement to stay true to 2nd Mile Service goals.
• Offer immediate/respectful response to Guest's and Team Member needs.
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift and act as a role model for our team.
• Be a friendly encouraging team player
• Entry level leadership position
• Excellent Communication Skills both written and spoken.
• Availability to work 25 - 30 hours per week minimum
• Prior experience is preferred as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant assistant manager are very helpful to the success at this job.

Responsibilities
• Ensures food safety standards are understood and followed in each area of the restaurant
• Responsible for hiring and firing
• Ensures employer brand promise is upheld and delivered
• Oversees leadership development for the restaurant
• Forward looking to future needs of the business to ensure the restaurant is properly staffed
• Ensures FOH schedule is being done correctly and monitors weekly labor numbers
• Oversee speed of service as it pertains to FOH
• Responsible for accurate money procedures (InForm, drawer counting, etc)
• Ensures each guest has a positive experience and monitors CEM scores with guest experience manager.
