Job TitleTideman Marine, a division of United Plastic Fabricating, designs and manufactures high-density polyethylene (HDPE) boats for military and commercial marine use. Based in Ocala, Florida, USA, Tideman Marine operates a cutting-edge facility dedicated to designing and constructing welded HDPE boats and custom marine products.We are seeking individuals with experience in the RV, mobile home or similar manufacturing environment to come join our team in a fast-paced, small industrial boat manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing mechanical and electrical installation work to ensure high-quality boat assembly.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced electrical installation, including panel wiring, routing wire drops, buss bars, system troubleshooting, and gauge calibrationInstall and connect key boat systems, including wiring, fuel, oil, control, exhaust, and water systems in accordance with specificationsFabricate and install custom components (panels, brackets, mounting systems) and align steering systems per OEM guidelinesRead and interpret blueprints and schematics while ensuring all work meets ABYC standards and is completed efficiently in a production environmentCompensation: $21-$25/hour based on experience and qualificationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 4 years in marine, RV, automotive or similar technical environment (required)Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagramsExperience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing settingPre-Employment RequirementsMust be able to successfully pass drug screening and background checkThis employer uses E-Verify
