Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 hours per week (3x12s)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the emergency department
- Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required; Cerner experience within the last 5 years also required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
