Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Southern California

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Santa Monica, California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 24-hour orientation period; no on-call required; no floating between units; patient ratio of 1:4 with approximately 7 visits per day across 2 operating rooms

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current BLS certification
• LA County Fire Life Safety Card obtained within the last 30 days
• Proficiency in obstetrical surgical procedures including C-sections, abdominal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, bilateral tubal ligation, D&C, and related procedures
• Experience with laparoscopic assisted procedures, aseptic technique, sterilization/disinfection, and equipment documentation
• General and ambulatory OR experience preferred
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
