About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled  Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room (ER) team as a  Charge Nurse  at Sierra View Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in trauma and emergency care, along with leadership experience managing ER staff and patient flow during high-acuity situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as  Charge RN , overseeing ER operations during assigned shifts
• Provide direct patient care in high-acuity emergency and trauma cases
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity
• Supervise and support nursing staff and coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality standards

Requirements

• Active  California RN License (required)
• MICN Certification (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Prior Charge RN experience required
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (preferred)
