Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician maintains and improves a range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance for machines, automated spray booths, paint line systems, and related production equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimize unplanned downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Execute and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs for machines, semi-automated spray booths, paint line systems, and other production equipment to optimize performance and reduce equipment failures.
  • Carry out scheduled inspections, lubrication, calibration, adjustments, and component replacements in accordance with OEM guidelines and established maintenance intervals.
  • Use condition-monitoring techniques such as vibration checks, temperature readings, visual inspections, and diagnostic tools to detect early signs of wear or potential failure.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues on CNC machines, paint line systems, and facility equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, equipment failures, and emergency repairs to restore production operations and reduce downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment faults using multimeters, test instruments, schematics, blueprints, and OEM documentation.
  • Maintain and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, spray systems, filtration units, and associated production equipment to keep systems operating reliably.
  • Accurately complete and document work orders, inspections, and repair activities within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), including findings and recommended corrective actions.
  • Assist in the installation, modification, and upgrading of CNC equipment, paint systems, and facility infrastructure to support production needs.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize maintenance schedules and improve equipment reliability, with particular focus on CNC and finishing systems.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance preventive maintenance procedures and support the transition toward predictive and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.

Essential Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Hands-on maintenance experience with CNC equipment and automated finishing or paint line systems.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, including experience up to 480V (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation practices.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or trade school training in a related field (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Full House machines or similar equipment (preferred).
  • Experience with GODN semi-automated spray booths or similar automated finishing and paint line systems (preferred).
  • Industrial maintenance repair, including motors, pumps, conveyors, spray systems, and filtration units.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and other test instruments.
  • Ability to support reliability-centered and predictive maintenance initiatives.
  • Comfort working from OEM documentation and maintenance intervals to plan and execute tasks.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Breinigsville, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr. Health Medical Dental Vision 401k
