Think of it as practical magic./ph3Job Description/h3pThe Production Manager is responsible for leading the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives while driving all safety, quality, and delivery standards. The Production Manager will lead a culture of positive leadership, development, and accountability across all production staff while driving to plant and company goals./ppstrong Pay range: $95-$120k + 10% Bonus. /strong/ppstrong ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS /strong/pulliDrive a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing California Closets standards, culture and adhering to safety regulations and lead by example./liliResponsible for driving safety, quality, and production by partnering cross functionally, including making decisions based on California Closets standards and following guidance from leadership with regards to the following:/liulliManage daily/weekly production requirements./liliAssigning and monitoring work to maintain balanced output and flow./liliRequesting resources as necessary to assist with performance./liliEscalated responder to all process interruptions and initial decision making for recovery or production stop until issues are cleared pertaining to any of the following: Safety, Quality, Downtime, Staffing, Materials, Logistics and Human Resource requirements./liliProvide feedback to team on how to improve existing standards adherence or process change./li/ulliMeet production goals by identifying and acting on proactive reactive actions regarding flow, labor, and priorities./liliLead Production Supervisors to success with effective coaching, developing, and communication./liliProvides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests./liliLead with a focus on quality, working closely with the quality team to meet standards. Consistently check products per company policy to ensure quality and customer satisfaction; resolves any identified problems and collaborate with the quality team./liliImplement systems of continuous improvement to maintain an organized system, optimize processes and methods to ensure maximum and steady output, increase efficiency, and reduce waste./liliBuild and maintain effective visual communication systems to display metrics, cross training, feedback, quality issues, and other key messages./liliProvide leadership to ensure fair and consistent application of processes and procedures are administered across all shifts./liliCollaborate with maintenance on any immediate issues, scheduled down time, and equipment improvements./liliCommunicate effectively across multiple shifts and functions./liliServes as a champion coach of quality, lean, and process improvements to promote a continuous learning environment./liliResponsible for daily and annual performance management across hourly team members and Production Supervisors./liliSupervise the production leadership teams, working daily with production leads./liliUnderstands and has a working knowledge of all job-related quality objectives, quality system policies, procedures, and instructions./liliSupport plant layout changes and direct efficient flow in all departments through standard work for continuous improvement./liliManage and drive improvements in scrap, labor, and other manufacturing costs./liliEnter/delegate entry of daily production numbers./liliParticipate and assist with running the daily operations meeting./liliProvide daily feedback to team members on all performance measures and provide detailed shift pass down report to the next shift lead./liliMentor and train team members on machine operations and production processes./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors Degree preferred; preferably Operations Management, Business, or other technical fields./liliExtensive experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment./liliMinimum of 10 years of experience supervising a production/manufacturing team./liliWill have a thorough knowledge of typical manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment, and cabinetry/furniture industry experience is a plus./liliMust have strong leadership skills, servant leadership coaching style, and excellent oral and written communication skills./li/ul/div
