Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time RF Test Systems Engineer II located onsite in McKinney, TX supporting Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) Test Automation.The Test Automation Department (TAD) is responsible for the design and development of test equipment, hardware and software for a wide range of products and customers. The STaRS Test Automation section within TAD is a growing and highly motivated team who consistently provides quality on-time on-cost solutions to support external and internal customers seeking innovative and economical solutions for their product lines. The section also supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities.What You Will DoSupport troubleshooting of test equipment, circuit boards, cables, etc.Demonstrate ability to work independently and drive toward goalsCollaborate with cross functional teams to deploy test solutions that meet technical and production test needsSupport Lead Test Development engineer in the design, integration, verification, and validation of production test solutions for RF modules, RF CCAs, antenna subassemblies as well as power supplies/computing subassembliesAnalyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of workFacilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectivesQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Typically requires minimum of 1 year experience with emphasis in Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) Test Systems Engineering or equivalent Engineering experienceRequires experience in both hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance activities within production/manufacturing/product qualification environmentsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required after day one.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We PreferExperience with RF technology across Communications and Radar systemsExperience with test software such as MATLAB, Test Stand, Test Executive, etc.Experience interpreting schematics, block diagrams, and requirements documentsExperience communicating with the ability to present test findings clearly to engineering and leadership.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
