Role Description Allergy & Asthma Physicians is seeking a qualified Allergist (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Hinsdale, Illinois. This is a full-time, on-site clinical position. The clinician will evaluate and manage patients with asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, and other allergic and immunologic conditions through comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, diagnostic testing, and individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include interpreting test results, prescribing medications within the clinician’s authorized scope of practice, managing allergy immunotherapy, educating patients about prevention and environmental control measures, reviewing medication use, developing emergency action plans when appropriate, and coordinating follow‑up care. The role also includes accurate medical record documentation, collaboration with clinical staff and referring clinicians, and participation in practice protocols and quality improvement initiatives. We are looking for a compassionate, clinically skilled professional who values patient education, teamwork, evidence‑based medicine, and ongoing professional development. Experience in allergy, asthma, or immunology is preferred. Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics. Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology. Board certification or board eligibility in Allergy and Immunology. Clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing allergic, asthmatic, and immunologic conditions. Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program. Current national NP certification and appropriate Illinois licensure. Experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, pulmonary medicine, primary care, or a related specialty is preferred. Strong clinical assessment, treatment‑planning, diagnostic interpretation, and patient counseling skills. Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program. Current NCCPA certification and appropriate Illinois licensure. Experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, pulmonary medicine, primary care, or a related specialty is preferred.
