Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med Surg Telemetry position requiring a TX or compact license and 2 years of experience.

Job Details

• 29-bed Med Surg unit with a cardiac population and telemetry monitoring,
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15,
• 13-week assignment length,
• Uses Epic for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA),
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA),
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required,
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start,
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address,

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate care across disciplines for Med Surg and telemetry patients,
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition, carrying out physician and nursing orders,
• Coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team,
• Requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment,
• Navy or maroon scrubs required,
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location,
• COVID vaccination is not required
