Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Motion Designer to join its client's creative team on a contract-to-hire basis. This motion designer will bring together motion, video editing, and strong visual design to create compelling consumer-facing creative. They need a self-sufficient creative who has strong visual design instincts and can take work from brief through final delivery, creating additional design elements when existing brand assets aren't enough. The ideal profile is roughly a 50/50 combination of motion design and video editing, with the heavier emphasis on true motion design capability.\nThis is an opportunity for someone who enjoys owning projects from concept through final delivery. You’ll work across entertainment content, branded campaigns, trailers, connected-TV spots, social content, and animation-heavy creative, combining existing brand systems and content assets with your own design and motion expertise. This is a fully remote role and a contract to hire.\n\nDay to Day\n\t- Own motion and video projects start to finish, with limited reliance on another designer.\n\t- Create 15- and 30-second connected-TV marketing spots using trailers and content from multiple shows or partners.\n\t- Combine entertainment/content IP with the client's overall brand identity to create cohesive creative.\n\t- Build branded animated spots using existing graphics, templates, and brand assets.\n\t- Create original design elements when the existing asset library doesn't solve the creative need.\n\t- Produce animation-heavy creative based on scripts coming from the copy team.\n\t- Handle kinetic typography/type animation and other motion-forward executions.\n\t- Edit and adapt partner-provided trailers and existing footage rather than exclusively editing raw footage from scratch.\n\t- Support additional marketing video needs, including feature trailers, tagged partner content, and organic social creative.\n - QC creative and help manage output from external video production partners.
