Direct Support Lead - Merrillville

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of experience providing direct services in the human services field
• Valid drivers license, current vehicle registration, and auto insurance
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong leadership skills and effective communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
• Dependable, accountable, and compassionate approach
• Commitment to delivering quality in everything we do

• Provide leadership and supervision to staff in the residence and community while also delivering direct support to the people we serve
• Participate in training for individuals served to help ensure their objectives and our company goals are met
• Join community outings, orient new employees to the house, and act as a role model by ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Support house staffing needs and assist with staff recruitment
• Review progress for the people we serve, and coordinate and carry out shift objectives
• Deliver services such as skills training, job coaching, and behavior management in accordance with the Individual Plan and/or treatment team
