Job Details\n \n Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery \n Employment Type: Travel Nursing \n Setting: Labor & Delivery / Women & Infants Unit \n Location: Aurora, CO 80045 \n Assignment Length: 13 weeks \n Start Date: 09/21/2026 \n Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,180 - $2,290 \n Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts \n Hours per Week: 36 \n Schedule: Rotating days and nights; weekend coverage and on-call may be required based on unit needs \n Floating: Required within the Women & Infants unit, with possible float support across the Denver metro region as needed \n Charting System: Epic \n Patient Ratio: 1:2 \n Job Requirements\n \n Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a compact state \n Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required \n Travel nursing experience preferred \n Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required \n Experience with rotating shifts, weekend coverage, and on-call expectations \n Strong clinical skills in obstetric, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care \n Ability to float within scope and adapt to changing unit needs in a fast-paced hospital environment \n Comfort working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary women’s health team \n Responsibilities\n \n Provide safe, compassionate maternity care for laboring and postpartum patients \n Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond promptly to changes in condition \n Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk obstetric procedures \n Support triage, assessment, patient education, and care planning throughout the labor and delivery process \n Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate \n Perform and document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epic \n Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, respiratory therapy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals \n Maintain a calm, supportive environment for patients and families during delivery \n Why Work in Aurora, Colorado?\n Enjoy a rewarding travel nursing assignment in one of Colorado’s most desirable healthcare markets.
