Warehouse Lead - Bilingual English/SpanishLocation: Adkins, TX 78101 Pay: $23.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 7:00 AM-5:45 PM Job Type: Full-Time | W-2 Hourly | On-SiteAbout UsTop Metal Solutions is a growing metal fabrication company seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Lead to support warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material distribution operations.This is a hands-on position that combines forklift operation, inventory control, material handling, and the daily coordination of a small warehouse team.Position SummaryThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of approximately two to three warehouse employees while actively supporting warehouse operations.This position must be able to identify, organize, receive, store, and distribute the materials required by Production. Strong knowledge of steel, fasteners, welding supplies, tools, and industrial materials is essential to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on time.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the daily activities of approximately two to three warehouse employees.Receive, inspect, organize, store, and distribute materials, tools, supplies, and finished products.Supply Production with the correct materials, steel, hardware, tools, and supplies needed for daily operations.Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.Verify incoming and outgoing materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, damaged materials, or incorrect deliveries.Organize and control steel, fasteners, welding consumables, coatings, tools, and maintenance supplies.Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely.Load, unload, move, and organize heavy materials.Coordinate loading and unloading activities.Maintain an organized tool room and assist with the control and return of company tools.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard.Communicate material needs and inventory issues with Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and Management.Ensure proper forklift, lifting, loading, and material-handling safety practices are followed.Perform other warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving duties as assigned.QualificationsBilingual English/Spanish is required.Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping and receiving, or material-handling experience.Previous experience leading or coordinating a small warehouse team.Knowledge of steel, fasteners, welding supplies, tools, and industrial materials is required.Ability to identify and differentiate materials by type, size, specification, and intended use.Experience working in manufacturing, metal fabrication, construction, or another industrial environment.Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment.Experience handling heavy and oversized materials.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Basic computer skills and experience maintaining inventory records.Ability to communicate effectively with Production, Purchasing, Management, vendors, and drivers.Dependable attendance and punctuality.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Forklift ExperienceTop Metal Solutions operates forklifts and material-handling equipment ranging from approximately 6,000 to 35,000 pounds.Experience operating forklifts in industrial or manufacturing environments is required. Experience with larger-capacity forklifts is strongly preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the warehouse and yard for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely.Ability to work around forklifts, steel, machinery, and fabrication operations.Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing and warehouse environment.Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
