Davenport, IA

Shift:

5am-1:30pm (+ overtime)

3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (+ overtime)

Position Overview

We are hiring detail-oriented Warehouse Pickers to join a large, fast-paced distribution center in Davenport. This role is critical to ensuring products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately to customers—including international locations.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately using an RF scanner
• Sort and stage boxes onto pallets for shipment
• Handle a wide range of products—from small packages to large machine parts
• Use appropriate lifting equipment to safely move heavier items
• Load and unload pallets and trailers efficiently
• Verify product accuracy to ensure correct shipments
• Perform general warehouse duties including packaging, sorting, and inventory support
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all quality standards with a strong focus on accuracy over speed
• Work scheduled hours plus mandatory overtime and occasional Saturdays

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of warehouse experience preferred
• Experience with order picking, packing, or inventory tasks
• Ability to use or quickly learn RF scanners
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working around material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Experience

• Distribution center or general labor experience
• Shipping/receiving or inventory experience
• Exposure to large-item handling or heavy materials
• Willingness to be trained on equipment (including forklifts)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DAVENPORT, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
