The Local Schemes Team:

The Integration Pix | Local Schemes team has the mission of ensuring a resilient, scalable and highly available PIX integration. Our responsibility is to guarantee the availability of the PIX service for the company's internal systems in an organized and centralized way.

Challenge:

The Engineering Manager of the Integration with Pix Systems team is responsible for leading the technical and operational evolution of the microservices that connect Stone/Pagar.me to the critical infrastructure of the Central Bank, ensuring availability close to 100%. The challenge combines the support of a high volume transactional ecosystem with the architectural evolution necessary to keep up with regulatory changes.

We expect the manager to balance resilience with end-to-end observability, with speed of delivery, promoting best engineering practices while cultivating a collaborative and evolutionary culture, operating at the heart of the Brazilian instant payment system.

Day to Day:

• Will compose a high performance development team focused on: designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software focused on solving real problems of our clients;
• Assist in the construction of solutions with a long-term vision and a lot of quality;
• Will be a defender of good development practices, design patterns, our agreements and processes, tests, documentation and code review, within your team and influence this culture as much as possible;
• You will lead multidisciplinary teams between 5 to 8 devs;
• Responsible for the design of technical solutions in conjunction with the Staff Engineer and technical team, assessment of feasibility and technical planning, measurement of effort and deadlines;
• Will participate in the elaboration of the roadmap and management of the backlog with micro definitions of deadlines and efforts together with the product team and stakeholders;
• You will be responsible for defining and following the scrum/kanban cycles and all the rituals - Planning, Daily and Retrospective;
• You will be responsible for collecting and following metrics / OKR and their action plans for improvements;
• You will be responsible for following the team, 1:1 rituals, PDI, performance evaluation and all its development over time;
• You will participate in the recruitment stages and technical interview selection, challenge, etc;
• You will be a guardian of mental health and a good balance between professional and personal life, being an example for the team;
• It is expected from you extreme ease of teamwork, a lot of frankness and transparency so that in the day-to-day you can have a great relationship with the team and transmit knowledge;
• Here everyone has an open mind to work with any technology, a lot of willingness to learn and deliver results, besides being passionate about technology and high performance systems;

What we expect from you:

• Experience in leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams based on agile methodologies;
• Be an ambassador in the team of our culture
• Experience in Backend development (Golang)
• Solid knowledge of API RESTful / Protocol;
• Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures;
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code and Design Patterns;
• Experience with requirements engineering, diagramming, UML, documentation;
• Experience with Telemetrics, monitoring, observability and general metrics;
• Experience with Software Testing: Unitary, integration, stress and mutation;
• Knowledge of databases and relational and non-relational modeling, caching strategies and distributed processing;
• Knowledge of DevOps: CI/CD, automations and the culture itself;
• Be and have an agile mindset, knowledge of agile principles, scrum and kanban;
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud;

What increases your chances:

• Experience in developing applications with Golang and/or C# or another modern backend language
• Experience in projects aimed at the financial area;
• Experience in the specific area of PIX integration.
