Front of House Staff

Taqueria Xochi is a casual Mexican restaurant rooted in the flavors and street-food traditions of Mexico City. While our atmosphere is approachable, we take hospitality, food quality, beverage knowledge, cleanliness, and attention to detail seriously.

We are looking for warm, dependable hospitality professionals who can provide attentive service while working efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant.

This position includes serving and bartending, but it is not limited to one station. Our FOH team works together. Everyone is expected to run food and drinks, bus and reset tables, restock, maintain clean service areas, complete side work, and support the restaurant wherever needed.

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, tequila, and mezcal.
• Learn the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage program.
• Make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations.
• Run food and drinks promptly and accurately.
• Pre-bus, clean, and reset tables throughout service.
• Maintain an organized dining room, bar, and service stations.
• Complete all opening, closing, restocking, and side-work responsibilities.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH team.
• Support teammates during busy service without waiting to be asked.

• Previous serving or bartending experience is preferred.
• Strong hospitality and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to help in every area of service.
• Takes initiative and remains productive during downtime.
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent.
• Interest in Mexican cuisine, tequila, mezcal, and cocktails is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, as we welcome many Spanish-speaking guests.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

• Nighttime availability is required.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Full availability on Sundays is required.
• Holiday availability may be required.
