Temporary Warehouse Delivery Driver

Position: Temporary Warehouse Delivery Driver Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Location: Converse Tx Hours: Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm (occasional overnight stay maybe required if delivery to our Childress Tx location) Job Overview Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled TemporaryWarehouse/Driver to join our team. This position involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse deliverydriving, as well as familiarity with various types of vehicles and equipment used in the logistics industry. Duties Operate a variety of vehicles for deliveries. Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Navigate designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate delivery logs. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, picking, packing, and organizing products. Utilize forklifts and other machinery as needed to facilitate loading and unloading processes. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment. Requirements Valid driver’s license with clean MVR. Must demonstrate the ability to operate a Forklift- Required Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles, pick up trucks and van. Experience with pulling aflatbed trailer, strapping, loading and off loading equipment such as mini excavators and mini skid steers. Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in both driving and warehouse operations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to follow schedules effectively.
