Job Functions

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Activities: Leverage evidence-informed methods to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and engagement in daily tasks
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Partner closely with OTRs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to facilitate continued progress outside of sessions
• Track Progress and Outcomes: Document developments and modify treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on the path to success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Ongoing education and additional certifications encouraged and supported

Licenses

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
