Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 4x10s | Monday–Friday | Start Time: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting, supporting open heart and vascular surgery procedures
• Perform circulating RN duties throughout surgical cases in a multi-room OR environment
• Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including DaVinci robotic systems and Hybrid OR technology
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and care records using EPIC EMR
• Fulfill on-call requirements, including 2 weekend call days per month (24 hours) and 5 weekday call shifts including a Friday, beginning at end of shift at 1630
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team serving heart and vascular patient populations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN with knowledge of circulating in an operating room
• Expected weekly hours of 36 hours; no float requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles within a cardiovascular or surgical OR setting
• Familiarity with DaVinci robotic surgical systems and Hybrid OR environments
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Team-oriented, critical thinker with a positive and adaptable attitude
