Senior Backend Integration Engineer

Salary: $85,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• We require 7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on back-end engineering, middleware, and systems integration.
• We need deep expertise in building Node.js middleware and API integration layers.
• We require strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery and Cloud SQL.
• We look for advanced skills in SQL database design, querying, administration, and cloud database migration work.
• We expect a solid understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).

• We serve as the main technical partner between Marketing and Enterprise IT, turning business needs into scalable and secure solutions.
• We design, develop, and support back-end services, APIs, and automation to improve operations and reduce manual effort.
• We build and maintain secure middleware and backend-for-frontend services that connect with our enterprise systems, including Fuse and internal APIs.
• We support cloud database migrations and modernization efforts to resolve existing business and technical challenges.
• We design and implement integrations between our digital platforms and Salesforce to support marketing automation, lead routing, and CRM initiatives.
• We manage database interactions and data handling in Microsoft SQL Server and Google Cloud SQL environments.
• We strengthen application security, risk controls, and back-end performance while following OWASP best practices.
• We provide technical leadership and mentorship, contributing to architecture decisions, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• We collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and other cross-functional partners using Agile/Scrum methods.
