Job Summary Introba is seeking a Mechanical Project Designer for our growing team in our St. Louis, MO location. Responsibilities Provide technical assistance to Senior Designers/Project Managers/Team Leaders. Maintain design files, including AutoCAD/Revit. Set up heating and cooling load calculation file (i.e., Carrier HAP) – inputs to be checked by senior staff. HVAC layout and drafting with minimal supervision. Ensure design checklist and technology standards are being followed. Coordinate equipment selections from vendors using Introba selection procedures with assistance provided by senior staff. Coordinate mechanical requirements with other disciplines involved in the project design team (i.e., architects, structural consultants, electrical consultants, etc.) under supervision of senior staff. Provide construction administration services as directed and supervised by senior staff. Attend site surveys with senior staff and independently. Technical system description writing for documents such as Basis of Design. Cover external coordination meetings independently as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering desired. Government, Healthcare, Education and/or Data Center experience desired. Minimum 5 years Revit experience (combination of academic & professional experience), combined with 2 years design experience in HVAC. Ability to read architectural, structural, electrical drawings with minimal supervision. Ability to apply prescriptive requirements of Energy Code with minimal supervision. Knowledge of energy modeling and calculations desired. EIT classification desired. Benefits Introba offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
