Role Description

The Real Estate Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Coral Gables, FL 33146. This role supports all phases of the development lifecycle, including site evaluation, financial analysis, due diligence, entitlement, design coordination, construction oversight support, and project closeout. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and feasibility research, supporting preparation of investment memoranda and presentations, and assisting with project schedules and budgets. The associate will collaborate with internal team members and external partners such as consultants, architects, and contractors to support project execution. The role also contributes by supporting and assisting senior leadership with strategic planning for new and existing projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of real estate development processes, entitlements, and permitting; familiarity with South Florida markets is preferred.
• Research skills to gather, synthesize, and interpret data from market studies, zoning codes, and industry sources.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear written materials and present complex information to diverse audiences.
• Robust analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, market analysis, and feasibility assessments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is required
• Experience with Procore Construction Management is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
