Assistant Store Manager

Assistant Store Manager: May provide support to stores in Fairfax, VA as needed, while developing skills to become a Store Manager. Responsibilities Elevate and enhance the in-store experience by serving as a trusted sleep authority. Execute Mattress Firm Retail Management (MFRM) selling programs and support a seamless omnichannel experience. Lead in resolving customer-related issues and escalating when necessary. Coach associates on selling practices and ensure execution of in-store merchandising. Support development of team members by providing technical and product knowledge. Assist the Senior Store Manager with training of store associates. Promote a culture of coaching to improve customer experience and selling aptitude. Achieve or exceed store financial targets through effective execution and customer service. Ensure compliance with product merchandising, marketing, and POP standards. Follow Mattress Firm procedures for product transfers and inventory documentation. Ability to lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds. Compensation Competitive pay range of $76,000 – $92,000 per year, plus base pay or uncapped commission. Additional bonus opportunities may be available for eligible leadership and individual contributor roles.
