Warehouse Forklift Operator - Night Shift 1

Seneca Foods Corporation Job Overview: As a Warehouse Forklift Operator at Seneca Foods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be vital in maintaining our high standards. RESPONSIBILITIES

Forklift Operation:

• Safely operate a forklift to transport, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
• Stack and organize products and materials securely.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform visual inspections of the forklift and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.

Warehouse Duties:

• Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve productivity goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

General & Education:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Forklift Operation:

• Valid forklift certification and current Forklift License.
• Ability to safely operate a lift truck.
• Familiarity with the layout of the warehouses at Payette or the willing to learn.

Inventory Management:

• Working knowledge of or the ability to learn inventory scanners.
• Familiarity with Seneca coding for brite items is a plus.

Work Schedule: * Availability for a Monday – Friday shift from 4:30 pm – 3:00 am, with overtime as needed based on production and customer requirements.
