Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area and focuses on supporting ground mount racking assembly for commercial and utility-scale solar projects. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with the installation of fixed tilt and single-axis tracking systems, following detailed construction plans, using hand and power tools, and working with team leads to meet project milestones. The role involves maintaining a safe and organized worksite, performing quality checks on completed work, and adapting to site-specific conditions and weather. The team member will collaborate closely with supervisors, project managers, and other crew members to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards. Qualifications Experience or strong interest in solar installation, construction, or related trades, with the ability to learn ground mount racking assembly and work from technical drawings. Familiarity with hand and power tools, basic mechanical aptitude, and comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Commitment to safety practices, including following OSHA guidelines, using personal protective equipment, and adhering to company safety policies. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to daily and site-specific challenges. Reliable transportation to job sites in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Area and willingness to work full-time schedules, including occasional extended hours as needed. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in solar, construction, or utility-scale projects is preferred but not required.
