Client Service Representative -VCA Mueller

Position: Client Service Representative Compensation: $19-20/hour based on experience Location: VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center, 7625 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95832 We are seeking an experienced Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at our hybrid facility, handling primary care appointments, emergency visits, urgent care appointments, and more. We aim to exceed each pet owner’s expectations and need a personable yet highly professional individual to meet the needs of our clients and their pets. Why We Need You Customer service functions, including greeting clients, answering telephones, and guiding owners and their pets to exam rooms. Scheduling and confirming appointments. Placing outbound calls for follow‑ups and reaching out to prospective clients. Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments. Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions. Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non‑medical pet care (e.g., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control). Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence. Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that the facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.
