Contract | Nights (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Note: Orientation is expected to take place on first shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) for approximately the first three weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Surgical Process Lead, supporting surgical services operations during night shift hours
• Transport patients safely and efficiently throughout the surgical services area
• Clean and turn over operating rooms between cases in accordance with facility protocols
• Lift and move heavy items as required by the role
• Deliver customer service support to patients, staff, and surgical teams
• Complete required facility assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, during orientation with an acceptable passing score

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Surgical Support Tech I experience, or 2 years of experience as a Lead
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Active permanent Ohio license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required — co-worker references will not be accepted
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a surgical support or lead role within a single facility or location
• Familiarity with operating room turnover procedures and surgical environment standards
• Experience working night shift in an acute care or surgical setting
