Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have Level 3 NICU experience (nitric oxide, jet and oscillator ventilation competency).

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission.

Unit Details: Expected ratios: per campus acuity.

Shift & Scheduling: Variable shifts for the unit, including full-time staff; the manager does try to keep clinicians on their consistent schedule during the contract. No on-call required. Every other weekend per CBA.

Floating Requirements: Will position float between units: Yes, internal in between departments. Must be flexible.

5 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
