Locums Psychiatrist Physician

We are seeking a Locums Psychiatrist to provide temporary coverage at an adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Mansfield Center, CT. The psychiatrist will work closely with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to provide patient-centered psychiatric care for adults in structured treatment programs.
Compensation: $220 Per Hour Coverage Dates & Schedule- Assignment Dates: 10/21/2026 - 11/17/2026
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekend or on-call responsibilities
- Adult IOP and PHP programs
- Structured, team-based psychiatric care
- Focus on evidence-based interventions and patient stabilization
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult patients
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Participate in treatment planning and team meetings
- Provide guidance and supervision to therapy staff as needed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Connecticut medical license or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in adult IOP/PHP programs preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
