Position Summary

The Dining Room Server enhances each resident's day by providing high-quality, attentive dining service in a clean, comfortable environment. This role focuses on professionalism, consistency, and kindness-ensuring residents feel cared for, respected, and at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dining service using proper etiquette and professional hospitality standards
• Take and place resident meal orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver meals and return to tables to ensure satisfaction and address needs
• Prepare and maintain table settings, condiments, and menu displays
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining room before, during, and after service
• Sanitize tables, reset place settings, and vacuum after each meal service
• Refill sugar caddies, salt & pepper shakers, and beverage stations
• Maintain beverage/server pantry and pub area supplies
• Launder napkins, aprons, and kitchen towels as assigned
• Clean beverage machines (coffee, juice, soda) regularly
• Assist dietary aides or chef when time permits
• Take a team-first approach-helping wherever needed to maintain excellence

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old
• Prior dietary and/or food service experience preferred
• Sensitivity to the needs of seniors and individuals with disabilities
• High attention to cleanliness, organization, and service standards
• Friendly, respectful attitude and strong teamwork mindset
