Field Service Manager - 2nd Shift
Intuitive Surgical
Field Service Manager leading regional service operations for a medical device company. Responsible for managing field-based teams, coordinating service delivery, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring quality standards across service contracts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop field-based direct reports through coaching and mentoring
- Coordinate service activities and ensure contract obligations are met
- Use data and metrics to track team performance and communicate business health
- Visit customers and team members to reinforce relationships and identify improvement opportunities
- Escalate and resolve key account and customer issues collaboratively with internal and external partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomedical, electronics engineering or equivalent
- 5 years hands-on field service representative experience
- 3 years management experience in medical industry or equivalent
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict management skills
- Ability to travel 50-75% and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of hospital operating room protocols and anatomic terminology preferred
- Proficient with computers and standard software applications
