Looking for 10 new hires who want free CNA training! As we take on these unprecedented days together, we are in need of caregivers to care for our most vulnerable population. We are looking for extraordinary people to provide exceptional care as we have a shortage of caregivers to provide the quality care that people still need. We provide home care services such as companion care, meal prep, cleaning, personal care, dementia care, and more. If you want to make a difference in someone's life, we have the opportunity for you to do this. During this time of crisis, no experience or certification is required; we will train you on all you need to know. If you're looking for hours temporarily or just to help the most vulnerable and desperate for care in our community, we can get you hired, trained, and working shifts within days of your application for the position of caregiver/home health aide. Full-time and overtime available. We have a protocol in place to address and manage the risks and spread of Coronavirus. We do provide masks (N95 if needed), gloves, hand sanitizer, a shield (if you want one), and gowns to ensure you are as safe as possible in their homes.

We are looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers, home health aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide non-medical home care to our clients in the Lansing, Howell, Brighton, and Livonia areas. We welcome all experience levels. This requires a special, gifted, loving person to take on this role. We truly value our caregivers and want to support you as you build your career with us. FirstLight Home Care is a lifeline and peace of mind not only for seniors but for anyone over the age of 18 who needs extra assistance. Home Health Aide responsibilities include:

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Preparing and serving meals
• Help with bathing, grooming, and incontinence care
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Shopping, errands, and transportation
• Other duties as assigned

For the role of personal caregiver or on-call caregiver, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to lift 25+ lbs
• Have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a safe vehicle
• Be willing to work one weekend shift a weekend (this can be as short as 3 hours on Saturday or Sunday) or work both days every other weekend
• Be able to take and pass a drug test and background check

Compensation: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
