Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in labor and delivery, ensuring high-quality care for patients during labor and postpartum. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the obstetrical department, including attending high-risk deliveries, monitoring patients, and administering medications and interventions as needed.

• Circulate and scrub for C-sections, assist during labor and delivery.
• Administer blood products and manage epidural anesthesia.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage care for low-risk antepartum and postpartum patients.
• Participate in high-risk deliveries and provide immediate post-operative care.
• Utilize Epic electronic charting system for patient documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Valid RN license with compact privileges if applicable.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; ACLS preferred.
