Associate Contracts Administrator

Kratos Defense

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Perform contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with corporate and/or business unit guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for contract correspondence, organization of contract records, and timely submittal of contract documentation.
Acts as Gichner Shelter Systems agent in signing contract within set dollar limitations.
Communicate contractual requirements to the internal functional team.
Acts as facilitator in internal and external meetings.
Directs invoicing of contract data items and milestone billings.
Responsible for contract close-out.
Initiates warranties and claims investigation.
Provides support to Contract Managers.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary.
Ability to adhere to workplace rules.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 Year college/University degree in Business, or equivalent experience.
0-2 years of related experience required.

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Office environment.
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Ability to follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
