Anesthesiologist

Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals are seeking full-time Anesthesiologists to join their expanding employed group in Fairfield County, Connecticut, approximately 60 miles northeast of New York City. Both day/non-call and call positions are available, with nocturnist, part-time, and per diem scheduling options also considered. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching opportunities. Practice Info Join an employed group of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs. Cover a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. Provide 24/7 coverage at Danbury, Norwalk, New Milford, and Sharon Hospitals. Danbury Hospital is a 371-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. Norwalk Hospital is a 366-bed Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. Affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Responsibilities Teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students Compensation Salary Range: $390,000-$550,000 annually depending on the schedule, subspecialty, and experience. Highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses, and malpractice coverage. Generous sign on bonus and relocation allowance are provided. Shift & Schedule Both day/non-call and call positions are available. Nocturnist schedule also available. Part-time and per diem scheduling options will be considered.
