In this role, you will be the backbone of our sawmill operations. You will keep our automated equipment safe, efficient, and reliable. If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.What You Will DoMaintain and optimize sawmill electrical systems to maximize production efficiency.Install, repair, and troubleshoot electric motors, scanners, drives, and PLCs.Partner closely with Production and Maintenance Supervisors to tackle real-time plant needs.Actively promote and follow strict safety practices to keep yourself and your team safe.What You Bring2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (high and low voltage power distribution, electrical controls, and variable frequency drives).Strong troubleshooting skills with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).An Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology, a completed apprenticeship, or equivalent Military Occupation Courses and experience.The ability to work a rotating shift schedule.A proven ability to work independently or collaborate closely as part of a team.Previous experience working in a sawmill environment is a major asset.Why Join Us?Your skills directly keep our mill safe and profitable.No two days are the same, with a mix of preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting.Work alongside dedicated professionals who value your expertise and safety above all else.
