POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a results-driven Economic Data Analyst to support quantitative research, data collection, and financial analysis for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. In this role, you will analyze large, complex datasets from key public economic sources to inform major agency initiatives, including capital plan inflation tracking, regional trade shifts, and remote work impacts. You will serve as a core technical resource, translating raw economic figures into actionable models and presentations. Operating in a collaborative hybrid work environment, you will work closely with project managers, process owners, and interdisciplinary engineering teams. Your daily contributions will center on organizing data using rigorous best practices, executing literature reviews, and building clear econometric models in tools like R, Python, Excel, and Power BI. This position offers a direct platform to influence regional infrastructure policy while working at the iconic World Trade Center location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct quantitative, statistical, and qualitative analyses focused on the transportation sector and macroeconomic trends Build and maintain econometric forecasting, benefit-cost, and economic impact models to support capital project decisions Query, aggregate, and analyze large datasets from public economic databases including Census, USDOT, BLS, and FRED Identify, model, and present critical economic trends, such as capital plan inflation impacts and changing regional remote work dynamics #J-18808-Ljbffr Polluxa, Inc.
