This role provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for obstetrics at all Inova hospitals, including the flagship Inova Womens Hospital at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, a nationally recognized Maternal Level of Care IV tertiary referral center./ppThis full-time position includes 0.7 clinical FTE and 0.3 administrative FTE dedicated to system-wide oversight of obstetric services, quality and safety initiatives, program development, multidisciplinary integration, and advancement of evidence-based obstetric care across diverse clinical environments./ppInova Womens Services supports one of the largest obstetric programs in the Washington, D.C. region, with more than 10,000 births annually at Inova Womens Hospital and over 20,000 deliveries system-wide. Board eligible or board certified in OB/GYN./liliExperience: successful completion of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program./liliLicensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia/liliPayor Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor/liliMedical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliExperience working in an administrative and leadership role for an OBGYN department or service line is strongly preferred/li/ul/div
