Senior Mechanical Construction Project ManagerOur client, a top mechanical contractor with nearly 100 years of excellence in customer service and employee ownership, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Construction Project Manager for their San Diego, CA location. Renowned for upholding the highest safety standards and delivering exceptional quality, they provide design/build services, sustainable solutions, commercial HVAC, advanced mechanical and industrial system installations, and cutting-edge Building Information Modeling (BIM). This position will oversee large-scale mechanical construction projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery across Healthcare, Life Sciences, Commercial, and Industrial markets.Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of the project lifecycle Preconstruction and design-assistProject execution and close-outEnsure safety, productivity, and efficiency of field personnelManage schedules, budgets, cash flow, cost projections, and reportingOversee procurement of materials and equipmentReview and administer change ordersMaintain quality control, contract compliance, and project documentationServe as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, subcontractors, and vendorsDrive financial performance, cost control, and timely billingMentor and lead project teams Ensure accountability and professional growthEnforce company policies, procedures, and safety programs throughout the projectQualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience 10+ years of project management experience in mechanical contracting5+ years of experience on industrial projects and in design-assist rolesProven success managing projects valued between $15M–$200MExperience in healthcare, data centers, laboratories, higher education, or semiconductor environmentsBachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferredTechnical & Computer Skills Proficiency with MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and ViewpointStrong business mathematics and analytical abilitiesCore Attributes Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail when interpreting oral, written, diagram, and schedule-based instructionsCollaborative, professional approach with consistent adherence to company policiesBenefitsComprehensive benefits including health, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance401(k) with company match and Employee Stock Purchase PlanPaid holidays, vacation, and sick leaveEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply
