Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Perform as second scrub during cardiovascular surgical procedures as required
• Fulfill mandatory call coverage two full weekends per month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Respond to on-call needs on weeknights and holidays as required
• Flex to work in the main OR as needed based on departmental demands
• Maintain a 30-minute response time when on call

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing
• Ability to function as a second scrub in cardiovascular procedures
• Willingness and ability to take call on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a main OR environment in addition to CVOR
• Familiarity with a broad range of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
