We are looking to hire an proactive Entry-Level Help Desk Associate to join our team! This is ideal for candidates finishing an undergraduate degree or recent undergraduates looking to gain experience. Title: Entry-Level Help Desk Associate Location: 75% remote 25% Pleasanton California Employment Type: Part-time/ Independent Contractor to start with the potential to be full time. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or chat. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Document and log all support interactions in the ticketing system. Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations, laptops, and other equipment. Stay updated on company systems, policies and procedures. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field is desired but not required Strong knowledge of IT security principles and best practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot common technical problems. Self-learner and ability to work in an agile and cross-functional environment Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to positively work with others.
