Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience License: Client Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: BLS certification from the American Heart Association ACLS certification from the American Heart Association Two years of telemetry experience Description: Exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. Provides specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures such as biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures. Involves preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring, and post-procedure recovery, including PACU and extended stay. Interventional Radiology is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Must adhere to infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas.
