About the Role We are seeking a Strategy & Operations professional to work within DoorDash for Business, a corporate offering. The role focuses on proactively identifying and solving customer friction, reducing defects, and improving the customer experience at scale. The candidate will analyze support and operational data, uncover trends, design preventive solutions, and influence strategic decisions across Product, Operations, and Go‑to‑Market teams. Responsibilities Strategize – understand client needs, prioritize by impact on defect ratio and customer experience, and create solutions with cross‑functional partners that proactively eliminate friction. Operate – execute on short and long‑term plans, working directly with internal and external partners; deliver product‑informed and operations‑driven solutions. Build – deploy a data‑driven approach to identify emerging customer support trends, quantify impact, and develop solutions that prevent defects. Collaborate – work with Product, Operations, Marketing, and Engineering to integrate customer feedback into product development and service enhancements. Construct – navigate ambiguity, bring structure to undefined opportunities, create playbooks and vehicle for problem resolution. Analyze – leverage data to inform hypotheses, align partners, and act quickly when data is sufficient. Qualifications 6+ years in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; experience in a high‑growth startup from 0‑1 is preferred. Proven track record of owning and leading complex cross‑functional workstreams, setting strategy, driving alignment, and delivering measurable outcomes. Highly analytical and strategic thinker capable of synthesizing complex datasets into actionable recommendations. Advanced SQL experience strongly preferred. Customer‑centric mindset, balancing needs of customers, merchants, Dashers, and the business while building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable operating with limited direction, proactive in identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, and driving execution from concept to implementation. AI‑forward, leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies to scale impact and improve efficiency. Compensation Base salary ranges from $136,000 to $200,000 USD, localized based on work location. Compensation includes opportunities for equity grants. See career page for details. Benefits DoorDash offers a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with employer matching, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off, paid sick leave, medical, dental and vision, 11 paid holidays, disability and basic life insurance, family‑forming assistance, and a mental health program. Paid Time Off Details Salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. Hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked, plus paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
